FUN FRESHMAN COACH WORDS OF WISDOM

"We can't bail the other team out with a foul and a "and one" call.  These are the toughest post players we've seen all year, so we have to play defense half way around, rotate in front (like we worked on in practice yesterday) and then, if they go to score, stay straight up...(at this point in my words of wisdom, I demonstrated staying 'straight up', whilst wearing my mature coaching outfit...)  If they score on you while you're playing good D, that's fine.  There's nothing we can do about that.  But we can't jump or try to block the shots...we can't give them anymore 'and one's'."

I didn't even have to force myself to say that one...it came out naturally.  Go Raiders!
