This holiday season has marked a time of "firsts" for the Beebe household. You can only have one "first" time with a lot of things - well, pretty much ANYTHING - so it's pretty important to remember these moments. You can remember them by marking them on your calendar perhaps, or by writing them down on a piece of paper and keeping that list in a very safe place....or you can blog about them. So, let me take a moment to blog about our many "firsts" of this holiday season 2009:
-My first time giving birth and first overnight stay in a hospital - oh what fun!
-Scott's first time changing a diaper - he's been holding out on the diaper changes, (even though he has about 12 nieces and nephews), with the excuse that he's waiting to change his own baby's diaper. Well, the time has come, my friend...about 18 times a day!
-Brooke's first sports related injury - getting grazed by Mark's official NFL football. She's tough, she can take it. Christina really got the brunt of the hit. The aforementioned football is sitting in Mark's lap in the picture below. (This picture has all parties involved in the incident, minus the four year old thrower of said football...it's the closest I could get to a picture of the actual incident).
-Brooke's first stuffy nose - She's ok...just snorting like crazy.
-My first time getting to fill out TWO Christmas lists. One for me, and one for Brooke, which is pretty much like another one for me...
-Our first Christmas as a family - even Wrigley posed for this picture. We're pretty proud of our auto-timer skills...
-The first time my family was all wearing their Christmas finery on the same day (even dad and Brooke)! Why aren't the husbands of my sister and I pictured? Because they have no Christmas sweaters/t-shirts (at least appropriate ones...Scott...) and thus no Christmas spirit.

Many firsts for the Goodwin/Beebe household, and they just keep on coming. The pictures you posted look great. And I'm glad that my Christmas Sweater Matches yours. Wouldn't have it any other way. Give Brooke a kiss for me.
Hi. I apologize that this is totally unrelated to the content of your blog, but Ruby has the same green blanket with brown polka-dots. It's her blanket for the car. Phebe is all about not making Ruby look like the Barbie aisle in a toy store. I totally agree.
Yayyyyyyy B!!
